Exercise instructions for S6-PRIAPOS

S6-PRIAPOS

S6-PRIAPOS is a machine designed for exercises with the use of additional weight.
The S6-PRIAPOS machine is designed for persons whose overal weight does not exceed 100 kg.

Before you start your training with S6-PRIAPOS, it is necessary to read all of the instructions listed below and use these recommendations during your workout. Particular attention should be paid to the information concerning the safe use of the equipment.

After you set up the machine in the destined place, before you start to use the machine, read carefully the most important information concerning the proper training with S6-PRIAPOS.

Despite the fact that S6-PRIAPOS offers dozens of different exercises, the machine is very simple in use.
Every single exercise available on S6-PRIAPOS is presented in the form of photographs and video material on our website http://www.reha-urology.com/.

Before you start doing the particular exercise, watch carefully the tutorial pictures and video to learn how to perform it correctly.

UWAGA!Each exercise should be performed according to its purpose – do NOT try to implement other training techniques than those presented in the video materials.

1. Instruction concerning the proper exercise performance. In this description you will find out which accessories are required to perform the exercise along with the proper technique. Some of the exercises have been presented in great detail in S6-PRIAPOS setup presentations.
2. Below the player’s window you can find a button leading to the page presenting the whole muscle system. There, you can choose a muscle group and view the relevant exercises on this particular part that can be performed S6-PRIAPOS equipment.
This information provides the necessary knowledge, required to prepare the S6-PRIAPOS machine for our training and how to perform the exercises safely.

- In order to perform the desired exercise, set up the additional load on the lever A. The weight should be adjusted to allow you the performance of the planned amount of series and repetitions.

- The load should be enough to let you do the planned amount of exercises without overexertion. Excessive load can be the cause of a serious injury.

- The weight rack in S6-PRIAPOS never touches the ground – it is always hanged in air on 2 steel lines. Thanks to this solution S6-PRIAPOS is completely silent during exercises.


The amount of friction used during your workout can be adjusted with the use of the A1 slider on the weight lever A.
By moving the slider A1 closer to the axis of lever’s rotation, will decrease the friction. By moving it away from the axis, the weight feeling will increase.
The amount of the weight we currently use can be read from the scale S.



Apart from the adjustment of the A1 slider via the setup of A2 screw, we can additionally use the lever B to achieve the following things:

1. To increase or decrease the starting weight of a particular exercise.
A good example to show how it works is the exercise P-47. In this exercise, if we connect lines to the lever B (the cables transfer the load to the arms we use during the exercise) with the lifted load, then the beginning of the movement in this exercise (P-47) will automatically have bigger load. This example can be seen clearly in the following movie material: P-47-I


This principle of increased preload on the B lever can used with many exercises.
2. To increase or decrease the motion range of a particular exercise.
As an example, let us have a closer look at the exercise P-3. In this exercise, if we move the lever with the roll a bit lower, then the motion range of the exercise will be wider. And the other way round – if we lift the roll closer, then the range of motion will decrease causing the exercise to be easier to perform.
This example can be seen clearly in the following movie material: P-3-I.


This principle of increased/decreased range of motion on the B lever can used with many exercises.
Thanks to this solutions, we have a possibility to additionally adjust the difficulty level of exercises – through the change in the preload and different setups of motion ranges.
While exercising, the motion with the additional weight should be fluent.
The loaded lever should never be dropped in an uncontrollable manner.

NOTE!While exercising, the levers – the one with the load and the one you train with, should never be disconnected. This can cause serious injury and damage to the machine.

The lever B is one of the most important element in the S6-PRIAPOS equipment.
This lever has many sockets, which are used to attach training accessories.
It gives an access to many different exercises and allows us to set up the machine according to the user’s height.
It is important to remember that the smaller the distance between the element and the rotation axis of the lever B is set, the bigger friction we obtain.




Some of the elements involved in an exercises (e.g. pads, grips, handles), should be properly mounted in the sockets of either the lever or the machine’s body. The elements have special flaps that automatically lock them and prevent them from falling off the sockets.

To take an element off the socket, first catch the flap with your fingers and guide it to the center of the socket. When the flap is aligned with the hole, the element can be taken off.



NOTE!During your workout always use the correct breathing technique – inhale during the passive phase of the movement and exhale in the active phase of the exercise.
