
Sport – my passion
Maybe you are a person who’s passion is to play tennis? Or maybe golfing, sailing or skiing? Have you ever thought about the possible negative consequences of doing favorite sports that may affect your health? The majority of people never thinks about the outcomes until they eventually happen. If any injury occurs, we still tend to think about the direct cause of it. However, most of the injuries are the outcome of poor or completely wrong preparation for the particular sport, especially on amateur level. The very classic example of such injuries in skiing or tennis is the injury of tight adductor muscles. Another extremely irresponsible form of amateur approach towards sport is an occasional participation in football match. People with overweight and undiagnosed coronary artery atherosclerosis, who have not had any contact with sports in previous months, step onto the playing field without any physical preparations only to be taken back by an ambulance with a heart attack symptoms.

Sport can e our life’s passion by we cannot let it become the reason for our problems with health. Proper preparation for doing a particular sport discipline is not only working on the technique of, for instance, your forehand or backhand in tennis or swings in golf. Beside the technique, it is equally important to be physically prepared as well. You do not have to be a bodybuilding fan to think about training exercises with weight.
Despite that tennis is my passion, the second place in terms to the pleasure and benefits belongs to physical exercises performed at my home gym. Well, I find it ver nice to be a fan of physical exercises because I am the owner of Szultka Sport & Fitness Equipment company and my passion is also to design and construct training equipment.
From the connection of my passions, I was able to create S6-PRIAPOS and TITAN-class training machines. By constructing these machines I knew that I need a multifunctional equipment that allows me to perform a lot of valuable exercises on a limited space. Despite that in my home gym I have several machines produced by my own company, I used to train mostly on S6-PRIAPOS and TITAN T1. During late autumn and winter, when it is impossible to play tennis outside, I do my intensive training with weights. I try to perform exercises that implement as many muscle groups as possible and the extra weight I use is rather small. I particularly focus my attention on the exercises that strengthen my abdominal and back muscles to protect myself from spinal injuries. For me, the leg muscles are also important, particularly tight adductors and abductors – with S6-PRIAPOS these are exercises from 11 to 16. Also, as far as tennis is concerned, it is very important to train forearm muscles – exercises 109-114 with S6-PRIAPOS. Having many machines at my disposal, I can perform all my exercises with extra weights just with S6-PRIAPOS machine. I train 5 times a week during the autumn and winter seasons to be well prepared for spring time, which I spent on exhausting hours at the tennis court. It is pointless to step onto the tennis court unprepared, risking injuries while having the first few practice games of your favorite sport discipline. What is the point of playing when we are totally exhausted, swaying on our legs with our hands shaking and our heart working at its limit? Good physical preparation gained through physical exercises with weights is very important in every sport discipline. No matter if it is tennis, golf, skiing or sailing. All of these sports, besides the physical preparations in general, also requires a specific training.
